We hold our elected representatives accountable through advocacy and tracking of bills. We know they work for us, so we organize teams that keep track of what's happening in Dallas, Austin and Washington D.C. If you're passionate about an issue: Healthcare, Women's Rights, LGBTQ Rights, Human Rights, Gun Safety, Immigration, Climate Crisis, School Funding, Income Inequality, Voting Rights, or Affordable Housing, we can use your talents to keep Texas moving in the right direction. Join one of our RATs (Representative Accountability Teams) and help us keep an eye on our elected representatives.
Call your City Council Representative and urge her/him to maintain full funding for the Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability (OEQS).
OEQS is in charge of developing the City of Dallas Comprehensive Environmental and Climate Action Plan (CECAP).
The new City Council is now in the process of approving the budget for the City. It is crucial that the funding for OEQS be maintained at its current level.
