Postcard Parties
Do you enjoy making a difference, while enjoying drinks, food, conversation, and making new friends that are fellow liberals? Then, postcard parties are for you!
We host regular postcard parties, both large member-wide and small precinct-level events. We write postcards to invite members to events. We write postcards that reach new voters across the county. And, we run postcard campaigns to hold elected officials accountable. From Thank You messages when they have a hard fought win, especially when they bravely challenge their own party for the wishes of their constituents; to issues-based campaigns.
We supply the postcards, pens, mailing labels, and stamps. Members write a short scripted message. The cost of the postcards and stamps is covered by donations.
“Flippin’ Funky”
The FEDDs like to make everything FUN, while also GSD - “getting sh*t done!” To make Dems in our area more visible, we started the bumper magnet tradition of “flippin funky.” When you come across another car with the FEDDs car magnet, you flip it upside down, take a photo of it, and share it with the group on one of our social media channels or email. It’s silly fun, but has effectively shown how many more Dems there are here than we realize. We now see FEDDs bumper magnets all across Texas, and the nation!!

Yes, YOU! No matter who you are, or where you live, you are welcome with the FEDDs if you share our Democratic Values. We encourage new members who have extra time and money to give, but also those who have nothing to share at this time. Regardless of your background, race, abilities, religion, or lack thereof, you are welcome on our team. We MUST be united to win. And, we’re determined to win. So, join us.
