Our friends at In Defense of Black Lives are asking voters to vote NO on Prop F/”No to Cop City”. More info here. The $140 million mega-facility would follow others built across the country, which thus far have proven to make the lives low wealth and global majority citizens more dangerous and more likely to be incarcerated, but have not lowered crime rates.
Our friends at Dallas Housing Coalition have endorsed Propositions G, H, and I, related to Economic Development, Housing, and Homelessness - their campaign resource guide helps organizers GOTV on the importance of these Props
Dallas College Board of Trustees - Dist 1: Dr Catalina Garcia is our trusted Dem candidate / competitor does not vote Dem
Dallas College Board of Trustees - Dist 7: All candidates vote Dem
Dallas ISD School Board Trustee races
Dist 1: Lance Currie and Maureen Milligan vote Dem
Dist 9: All candidates vote Dem
The DCAD Board determines our local taxes and recently became elected positions (no longer appointed), so we can elect Dems to the seats! The Appraisal District Board affects every public service in the county, incl schools, roads, parks, courts, and libraries.
Our very own OG FEDD Kendall Scudder is running for Place 2; he has endorsed another good Dem Alexandra Stewart for Place 3

Democratic Primary Runoff for Sheriff - an IMPORTANT role; it matters who runs our jails and responds to the needs of our citizens, incarcerated neighbors, and officers working under our Sheriff
